I love to experiment. I’m still often surprised how work develops during the process of printmaking and painting despite many hours conceiving and planning what I hope to achieve. This keeps me excited and endlessly inspired to explore new approaches and techniques. I’m a member of the Double Elephant Print Workshop in Exeter and am grateful for the facility to develop my practice and the invaluable support and community of printmakers. Alongside a fellow printmaker we have organised and curated 4 successful ‘Nature Under Pressure’ exhibitions showcasing diverse works by local artist-printmakers.
My work is rooted in the patterns, rhythms and cycles of nature and increasingly its vulnerability and therefore ours.
